Can has been with STR/CoStar since 2022, where he supports hotel groups and operators in making data-informed commercial decisions. STR/CoStar provides market transparency by comparing hotel performance against relevant competitors and the wider market, helping teams identify opportunities and better understand demand shifts.
Before joining STR/CoStar, Can worked across several luxury hotel brands including Four Seasons and Mandarin Oriental in Turkey, the UAE, Italy and Germany. This operational background enables him to translate benchmarking data into practical, real-world context for hotel leaders.
He is a graduate of Hotelschool The Hague and brings a multicultural perspective to his work. Fluent in German, Turkish and English, he is currently based in Munich and focuses on helping owners and operators leverage data to strengthen strategic decision-making and drive performance.
